Olympic track star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is pregnant.

On Thursday (January 22), McLaughlin-Levrone, 26, took to Instagram to announce that she was expecting her first child with husband and former NFL player Andre Levrone Jr.

The Olympian's post featured a photoshoot on the beach, with the couple holding a sonogram strip.

"Made a human with my favorite human 🥹," McLaughlin-Levrone captioned her Instagram post. "Oh, how we have prayed for you… and the Lord has answered!! You are our greatest blessing and are already so loved. We are eagerly waiting to meet you! 🫶🏽🤍 Cool parents loading…"

The baby news comes after the pair married in Madison, Virginia, in 2022, nine months after their engagement in August 2021.

"We've been waiting for this day for a very long time so just excited that it's finally here and we can say we're married," McLaughlin-Levrone said at the time.

"I have a vision in life, she has a vision in life, and we just kind of merged our visions… me primarily supporting her and her dream and her calling, is fun for me. And just knowing how supportive she is of me as well and in the long term," Levrone Jr. added.

The couple has been highly supportive of each other’s careers. During McLaughlin-Levrone’s remarkable performance at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where she won two gold medals, Levrone Jr. went viral for his enthusiastic reaction.

"He's such a huge support. There's so much behind the scenes that he's involved in and takes care of, especially on race days," McLaughlin-Levrone previously told PEOPLE.
