Keke Palmer has revealed the "funny" moment she found out she was pregnant.

On her podcast “Baby, This is Keke Palmer,” the Nope star recalled the way she learned that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Darius Jackson, per HuffPost.

“It’s so funny because how I found out was actually Darius,” Palmer said during Tuesday’s (January 31) episode of her podcast. “Randomly I was just feeling to myself, maybe I could be pregnant. Like the period thing didn’t even happen yet. Maybe this is the time.”

“So I took the test, and it came back negative ... I didn’t have the lines on there, so I just threw it in the trash," she added.

But while at dinner with a friend, she got an unexpected text from Jackson.

“We’re at like, this semi-casual business dinner, but we’re having some little sake and enjoying ourselves, and all of a sudden, I get a text from Darius, and he says, ‘When did you take this?’ And it’s a picture of the pregnancy test and it’s positive,” Palmer shared.

That's when Palmer realized that she didn't let enough time pass before checking the test's result.

“I didn’t wait long enough!” the actress said.

“And I’m like, ‘I took that earlier today, like literally just some hours before I left out.’ And he said, ‘Well, you better get to be drinking water in your sight. Cause I’m buying 10 of these things right now. You take them all when you get home,’” Palmer continued.

Palmer quipped that she took 10 pregnancy tests back-to-back to be 100 percent certain she was expecting.

The actress publicly announced her pregnancy in December, revealing her belly while hosting Saturday Night Live.

Last week, Palmer seemingly hinted at the sex of her baby during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

"Pisces are known to be very deep, they're emotional creatures. So I just want to make sure I'm not too blunt for my baby boy," Palmer said while talking to host Jimmy Fallon.

The mom-to-be dropped more hints on Tuesday's episode of her podcast about the name of her baby.

“We’re not saying the name, but the name for us ― it gives American. It gives Black American storyline,” Palmer said.
