Niche compiled a list of the best neighborhoods to live in America. The website states, "Explore the best neighborhoods to live in the U.S. based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities. Ranking based on data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources."
Five neighborhoods in Texas landed in the top 100.
Cottonwood Creek South in Richardson landed at number two, placing the highest of the Texas cities. Further down the list was Heights Park in Richardson at number 36, Canyon Creek South in Richardson at number 43, Old Enfield in Austin at number 73, and Timberbrook in Plano at number 84.
